Cliff Lee Untouchable in Shutout of Washington Nationals; Philadelphia Phillies Win Series | Philly Buster
Phillybuster.com -
Last night, it was Roy Halladay who worked his magic for nine strong innings against the Washington Nationals. Tonight, it was Cliff Lee, and he was even better.
Lee threw a complete game shutout, allowing just three hits. He struck out 12 batters and walked one. It was a gem if there ever was one, and the second straight night a Phillies pitcher threw a complete game against the Nationals.
