Balltribe Voting Button Accepted Into ‘Addthis’ WordPress Plugin

We have some great news for the Balltribe.com community today. Especially for the sports bloggers and publishers that are using wordpress as their site content management system. Balltribe.com has been working with the wordpress ‘addthis’ plugin developers on getting the balltribe voting button included in their plugin. As of this week, we are happy to announce the Balltribe button is now available to anyone using the ‘addthis’ social buttons plugin on their site (see example below).

Announcing Latest Changes to Balltribe.com

It’s hard to believe just how fast the time flies when you are having fun. Balltribe.com was originally launched in the early part of 2011, which makes the balltribe.com community well over a year old already. And, yes….we are still in Beta.

Balltribe Introduces User-to-User Messaging

As you are all aware, we still consider Balltribe.com to be in Beta form. We have many new features in development, and thanks to all the great feedback from the community we are constantly adding new features to our development queue. We are very happy today to announce the launch of what we believe to be a very important feature for increasing the social value of the community.

Help Ball Tribe, Help You

If you are using Ball Tribe regularly to vote on content you think deserves to make it to our “Hot News” section, submit content from your own blog or your favorite sites, or to find content from your fellow sports bloggers to link to on your sites, you’ve already helped tremendously with the Ball Tribe beta. For this, we can’t say enough to thank you!

Ball Tribe is now ramping up to start the third phase of our beta plan for Ball Tribe. We still have a few big community features we will soon be rolling out for you, but the main focus of this new phase will be trying to bring in sports fans to Ball Tribe, to read the content you as a community have voted to the “Hot News” and “Top Today” sections of the site. The goal is to be able to start driving more and more traffic each month from Ball Tribe back to all of your sites.
