Win Money Using Ball Tribe!!

In our experience if there is one way to define sports bloggers and sports fans as a group, it’s ‘competition’. That’s what sport is all about, isn’t it?

So we figured, why not add a little friendly competition to Ball Tribe for our users. Thus, the ‘Ball Tribe Leaderboard’ was born.

After setting up the leaderboard and seeing how our initial users were interacting with it, we decided to use the leaderboard as a way to reward our top users each month.

We are happy to announce that we will be giving away a prize each month to our Top 3 Ball Tribe Users for that particular month. The prize allotments will be as follows:

1st Place – $25

2nd Place – $10

3rd Place – $5

The prizes are not huge, but they are enough to help pay for a sports bloggers server/hosting fees, freelance writers, promotions, or anything else you can think of using the money for. But hey, we aren’t here to tell you how to spend your contest prize. We’d be just as happy to see you reward yourself and blow it on some beer. So if you want those prizes, don’t waste any time, get submitting, ask your friends for votes, read and vote on your fellow Ball Tribe users submissions, and don’t forget to contribute to the conversation through some comments on submissions that interest you!

*leaderboard points are generated as follows: Hot News (popular) = 20, submissions = 3, comments = 3, and votes = 1

Please read the following terms and conditions associated with the Ball Tribe monthly leaderboard contests:

1. No purchase necessary to enter the Ball Tribe Leaderboard contest. The contest will end on the last day of each calendar month. The opportunity to compete is independant of your ability to access the internet or the balltribe.com website.
2. The Ball Tribe Contests are open to all users, 18 years or older who are legally allowed to participate in such a contest as allowed by their local laws.
3. You must have an active PayPal account in order to receive payment for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place prizes. There will be no other payment options available.
4. You must have an active email address in your Ball Tribe user account in which Ball Tribe staff can contact you should you win one of the contest prizes. If you do not respond to your Ball Tribe contest winner’s announcement within 30 days of the date the email is sent, you will forfeit your prize for the month in question.
5. Ball Tribe is not responsible for: incomplete, lost, late, damaged, scrambled or misdirected entries or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic, which may limit a user’s ability to participate in the contest.
6. Ball Tribe reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest if fraud destroys the integrity of the game as determined by Ball Tribe in its sole discretion.
7. Employees and families of Ball Tribe and its affiliates and subsidiaries are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. All Federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
8. Users will be informed at the close of the contest if they are a winner, and if a player is identified as a winner, what prize has been won.
9. Acceptance of prize offered constitutes permission to use winner’s name and/or likeness for purposes of Ball Tribe site promotions or marketing.
10. Ball Tribe reserves the right to update the terms and conditions at any time without notification.
