n London, the racism towards players has gotten out of hand, in fact it has for years. The problem is no one has tried to step up and make a change. Sure, there have been security measures to control it but, security guys can’t be everywhere.
The Prime Minister of Britain, David Cameron, has approached soccer officials, former players, and anti-racism campaigners warning that abusive behavior by soccer stars is imitated by youngsters and must be stopped. The government announced Wednesday it will give $4.7 million toward the English Football Association’s new coaching center in a bid to encourage more people from ethnic minorities to become managers. There are no black managers in the Premier League.
