Ryan Miller Bails Sabres Out, Again; Series Tied 2-2 | Get Flyer'd Up

In a virtual “must win,” for the Sabres, Wednesday night, the Buffalo Sabres were able to get the job done. Even if the entire team didn’t have much to do with it.

Ryan Miller made 32 saves to shutout the Flyers for the second time in this 1st round series. Both shutouts were 1-0 wins by the Sabres.

Last seasons Vezina Trohy winner was spectacular, thwarting everything the Flyers threw at him, preserving the win for the Sabres and a 2-2 series tie heading into Game 5 in Philadelphia.

Like in Game 1, the Flyers did a lot of things, offensively, to be proud of. Though, once again, they couldn’t get a puck past Miller. The Flyers dominated the 3rd period, even while killing off a 5-minute power play to start the period. The Sabres seemed content to back in on defense, and dump pucks into the neutral zone when possible, nearly the entire period. The Flyers had their chances, including a one-on-one between Danny Briere and Ryan Miller, which Miller obviously won.
