Ryan Fitzpatrick vs. the Steelers defense
Buffalo Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick is having, by far, his best season to date, and in order to beat the Steelers on Sunday, it seems certain that Fitzpatrick will need a big day throwing to Steve Johnson and his other wide receivers. But if history is any indication, Fitzpatrick might struggle against Dick LeBeau’s defense. Steelers fans may recall that Fitzpatrick faced the Steelers once before (in November 2008, as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals), and had a mostly miserable day during his team’s 27-10 loss. He completed 20 of 37 passes for just 165 yards (4.5 yards per attempt), while throwing 1 TD pass and 1 INT.
