Greatness?: More Now Than Ever Before | Airing It Out

He’s owned all of Indy’s passing records. He’s won a Super Bowl. A six time AFC player of the year, eleven time Pro-Bowler, and a four time NFL MVP.

He didn’t win me over until 12 p.m. today.

Stepping behind a podium alongside of Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay, Peyton Manning looked like a confident man. Then he began to speak. There was a lot of appreciation. Gratitude was flowing, while the voice at times was quivering. He spoke to Mr. Irsay. He spoke to the fans. And time and time again…he thanked people for the opportunity to simply play quarterback for the Colts.

The end of this 14 year era was over, but his greatness for me had just begun.
