Cam Newton: Step Away From The Ledge | Airing It Out

I see the NFL’s Offensive Rookie on the tube every morning as I sit at work. With SportsCenter playing on loop, eventually I am destined to see a happy, go-lucky Cam Newton pop in a Gatorade gel tablet and run out on the field as part of a huge advertising campaign. If I’m just cognizant, Newton will appear again decked out in Under Armour gear, flying around Bank Of America Stadium to the beat of “his own DJ”.

Another commercial, another dollar, and more attention. What could be going wrong or be bad for this guy?

Let me not even spend much valuable time mentioning that he set astronomical numbers in his first rookie season as a quarterback in the league, he was taken first overall in the draft, he has a city/state/part of a county believing in his every move, and his teammates have nothing but good things to say.
