Chase Utley will officially begin a rehab assignment with the high-A Clearwater Threshers on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. Utley has missed all of the 2012 season so far with patellar tendinitis in both knees, his second straight year that he missed the start because of patellar tendinitis.
